AVAIBILITY STUDY

Object

  • Study of the estimated operation hours (EOH) of wind turbines in a wind farm to evaluate their productivity.

 
Descriptive

  • Comparison of actual observed availability with theoretical estimates previously calculated during project design.

 
Methodology

  • Gathering actual operational parameters related to the operation of an existing fleet for one year

  • Control of the coherence of the actual production data

  • Calculation of annual availability times based on actual operational data

  • Calculation of the annual availability times by a contradictory method, according to the wind data in the theoretical operating interval

  • Comparison of the number of theoretical availability hours with the number of hours of operational availability
